It’s getting close now! I caught up with the van in Budapest, 5 days in, on Wednesday. Hooner had already had some adventures. Learned how to turn the lights off at night- eventually! Had to camp in a railway station car park ( until he discovered he was 3 km away from where he should be) moved to the intended campsite that had all amenities including a fabulous restaurant and bar- that turned out to be closed that night!
It was his birthday on Wednesday so me and a mutual pal, Pete, flew out to join him. It was also an excuse for drinks with Pete as we will miss his stag night whilst we were away. So we treated ourselves and stayed in the Intercontinental! It’s a nice motor home but……
That is the way to arrive in Budapest!

Off for a two day drive over to Constanta in the morning. Plan to arrive Friday ready for the off on Saturday.
